The Workshop shirt is a staple in the James Coward assortment. The gabardine fabric is a tight twill weave, so it has a smoother, denser surface and a heavier drape than you’d expect from linen. It drapes heavier and feels smoother than most linen, but still breathes the way linen should. It’s dyed after weaving, which gives the charcoal real depth: a soft grey-black that’s easier to wear than true black.
