What we have here is a reowrked Canadian Forces field jacket, issued from the 1960s on and long a surplus-store favourite, this version in a in velvet-flocked organic cotton denim. A fine layer of fibres bonded to the surface gives the denim a soft, velvety hand and a muted, almost suede-like look, which will wear back gradually at the edges to reveal the denim beneath. A special fabric almost creating two versions of the jacket as you wear it and live in it. You know, Canadia Forces styles!
