The Body of Work and Mephisto Match returns in Thyme/Black celebrating our continued partnership with the iconic French footwear brand. Handcrafted in Sarrebourg, France from the finest Italian suede, the Body of Work & Mephisto Match is a best-in-class, high-performing walking shoe.
The tonal exterior features a rich black hue, accented by an entirely black rubber outsole achieved with custom injection molding, a first for the Match model. The interior is lined with a full-grain black leather and the tongue features a subtle embossed Body of Work logo. Each pair is brought to life through a process involving 160 precise steps, performed by 18 expert craftspeople, all of whom train for over three years before crafting their first pair. This level of dedication ensures a standard of excellence that is both rare and enduring.
Handcrafted in small batches by skilled artisans, the Match in Ink/Black unifies Body of Work and Mephisto's shared appreciation for beauty, craftsmanship and functionality.
