DESCRIPTION
This knife is distinguished by its Warikomi construction, a technique pioneered by Misuzu’s founder, Shinji Suzuki, in 1946. This method involves sandwiching a high-performance steel core between two layers of stainless steel, combining extreme sharpness with rust resistance and ease of maintenance. Each knife is hand-sharpened by master sharpeners and because of the wood handle these are NOT dishwasher safe. Mark learned this the hard way...right Mark.
