High–density parachute cloth first dyed in tannin–rich dye bath made from bark of local Teichiki wood, which then reacts to immersion in iron–rich mud, dorotetsu, hand–dyed by Kanai Kougei in Amami–Ōshima; woven on a wooden shuttle–loom in Shizuoka, Japan - This is like the chef's kiss of shirting. What's beautiful about this shirt as it ages the natural tannin and mud-reactive dye will uniquely age, fade, and evolve with exposure to sunlight and regular wear. Every shirt will end up different kind of like having a one of one.
