DESCRIPTION

As we continue celebrating our 15th anniversary, we wanted to create a piece of footwear rooted in Canadian heritage, and what better silhouette than the Canadian Military Trainer? A lesser-known cousin of the famous German Army Trainer, it was a simple, durable shoe issued to Canadian soldiers for physical training, and it’s prized today for its clean, minimal design.

Our version upgrades the original with a utilitarian lug sole that delivers real traction and all-weather wear, whatever the elements bring. The upper is built from three grey leathers: Italian nappa, nubuck and suede. The result is the ultimate trainer: easy to wear, minimal in appearance and luxurious in its materials. This one is set to become a mainstay in your footwear collection.

On another note, if you ever come across Jonathan, Justin or Michael ask them how they picked their leathers. It's quite the story.
