DESCRIPTION

The T.Dickens is a take on 1940s American and British dress slacks, just recut for how people wear trousers now, AKA modernied. The pattern starts from an oversized waist that is folded in to fit. That gives the trousers their elegant wide leg and the easy drape of a vintage pair while still sitting cleanly at the waist.

Made from a 100% wool gabardine, the tight twill has a subtle shadowed surface and a fluid drape, so the wide leg moves well as you walk. Imagine being able to dance the way you want to dance in a pair of trousers. Refined enough for a sports jacket but relaxed enough for a pair trainers or loafers. Again, versatility to the max.
